Internet Phishing Scams Warning from VP Torres

I just want to remind everyone to be vigilant when giving out personal information online or via email. Please also remind your students that if something seems suspicious it probably isn’t a legitimate request, and to not use their personal funds while being promised a reimbursement. Giving out information can lead to some serious unwanted consequences including identity theft, drained bank accounts, malware or computer viruses among other things.
