African American Students Services Welcome Back BBQ
AASS will hold its Welcome Back BBQ on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. In the Mesa Visa West Courtyard featuring free food, entertainment, and special guests.
American Indian Student Services Welcome Back Social
Please join AISS to celebrate embarking on a new academic year with American Indian students, faculty, and staff by attending the American Indian Student Services (AISS) 2018 Welcome Back Social on Thursday, Aug. 30, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mesa Vista West Courtyard. The event is a perfect opportunity to personally meet UNM’s most promising American Indian students and wish them well in their academic endeavors. This is a ticketed event – Admission Tickets can be picked up at AISS at 1119 Mesa Vista Hall until Wednesday, August 29 by 5:00 PM. Due to limited availability, tickets cannot be accessed after that time, so don’t delay in picking up your ticket before the supply is exhausted.
El Centro de la Raza Raza Junta Welcome Back
El Centro will host it’s Raza Junta welcome back celebration on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. In the Ethnic Center Courtyard featuring information, community, free food and entertainment.
Student Health and Counseling Open House
UNM Student Health and Counseling staff, cordially invites you, your staff, and all UNM students to our Open House on August 22, 2018 from 4-6pm. SHAC offers many services for our Lobo family, therefore please join them, familiarize yourself with the clinic, and get to know the SHAC team!
Student Activities will host Welcome Back Days, August 17-24 beginning with Friday Night Live. The events continue with Class Crawl and a movie on the field and different themed information days during the first week of school. Attached flyer has all the information.
Women’s Resource Center Cupcake Party
The WRC will host a cupcake party on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. where students can decorate cupcakes while learning about the WRC.
