2012 FIPSE North American Mobility Program for U.S., Canada and Mexico

Applications are currently being taken for the 2012 FIPSE North American Mobility Program for U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The purpose of the program is to create an “Indigenous Culture Experience” by having students participate in an academic exchange and learn cooperation skills in the areas of indigenous and community leadership development. The goal of the exchange is to broaden cultural and academic experience beyond one’s own country to include a greater understanding and appreciation of the indigenous cultures of North America.  This application will serve as an application to the program, but also for the $5,000 scholarship.  Please click here for application.

 Eligibility to apply:  You are eligible to apply if you are:

 A degree-seeking undergraduate student enrolled full-time;

  • In good academic standing;
  • Able to receive UNM credits or transfer credits for the international program;
  • 3.0 overall G.P.A. (on a 4.0 scale)
  • B or better grades in Spanish language courses
  • Interested in entrepreneurship studies and indigenous cultures:
