Thompson Earns Lifetime Achievement Award for Presidential Volunteer Service

Liberty ThompsonLt. Gov. John Sanchez recently recognized Liberty Thompson, a UNM CAMP student with a special commendation and the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. At just 19 years old, Liberty has always put service first in her life, and previously earned the bronze, silver and gold awards, and reached over 4,000 hours to earn the award. She participated n the Health Careers Academy for two summers and last summer participated in the Undergraduate Health Sciences Enrichment Program. Liberty is not only the first teenager in New Mexico to ever receive this distinction, but could be the first in the country as well. Congratulations Liberty!
