Communications and Marketing
Student Affairs is the primary student services provider for UNM's large and diverse student population. We provide access, support, and encouragement to all students in pursuit of academic excellence at the University of New Mexico.
The Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) communications and marketing staff offer creative and comprehensive communications and marketing platforms to develop, design, edit, implement, and produce content to elevate the work, stories, events, and people that make up our Division. We serve as a direct point of connection to University Communication and Marketing for submissions to the UNM Newsminute, President's Weekly Message, UNM website, social media, and external media requests.
We maintain and update official department listserves. We distribute official VPSA communications via emails, digital Weekly CONNECT newsletter, Student Affairs websites, and social media including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube.
We create, edit and distribute printed collateral for our office and departments within the division including:
- graphic
- flyers
- brochures,
- Infographics
- multi-page documents
- department information documents
- event invitations
- and more
We provide digital support and services for our departments including:
- message distribution on official listserves
- website edits/updates
- building and embedding Formstack forms
- basic videos and editing
- and more
