Greek Week 2023

UNM's 22 Fraternities and Sororities are preparing for Greek Week 2023, an annual week-long event to raise funds and awareness for a local non-profit and promote friendly competition amongst chapters. This year, all proceeds from Greek Week will be going to Crossroads for Women of Albuquerque. The mission of Crossroads for Women is to provide comprehensive, integrated services to empower women emerging from incarceration to achieve safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives in the community, for themselves and their children.
This year, we are focused on involving more of the UNM community, especially our Student Affairs colleagues, in Greek Week. We hope you will join us at our two public events.
- On Wednesday, March 1 from 11-2 there will be a pie-in-the-face event taking place in the SUB Mall. For $3 (or 2/$5) anyone will have the opportunity to pie staff and student leaders in the face. Pop-Pop's Italian Ice will also be on-site and will be donating all proceeds from the day's sales back to Greek Week.
- On Friday, March 3 at 6pm is Greek Sing 2023 at Popejoy Hall! This signature event is an opportunity for our entire community to display talents and create fun performances based on our theme, A Week in Hollywood. Our students put in hours creating the spectacles of this night and we hope you will all attend. This is a family-friendly event, so bring the family for a night of amazing entertainment. (Rumor has it, one of our staff is performing as well!) Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at the door.
