UNM Celebrates Farmworkers

UNM Camperinos are honoring the work of farmworkers during their annual Farmworker Awareness Week (FAW) celebration on the UNM campus. The Todos Unidos: Farmworker Communities and Activism Past and Present themed event will take place this week through April 2.
Vice President for Student Affairs Forums Scheduled

UNM Provost James Holloway recently announced the names of the three candidates in the running for the next Vice President for Student Affairs. The candidates are: Austin Jamar “JB” Banks Interim, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Colorado Boulder; Eric Scott, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Boise State University; and Eleanor JB Daugherty, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at the University of Connecticut.
The University of New Mexico Earns 2022-2023 Military Friendly® Top Ten School Designation

The University of New Mexico has earned the 2022-2023 Military Friendly® Top Ten School designation number eight ranking among Research 1 institutions. Institution rankings are determined through a combination of methods including a comprehensive survey and an assessment of the institution’s ability to meet thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence, and loan default rates for all students but more specifically, student veterans.

McCarthy Named Interim Director of WRC

Áine McCarthy, will be stepping into the Women’s Resource Center Director role on an interim basis on March 1, following the departure of director, Jessica Holland at the end of February.
